I am a PhD candidate in philosophy at Stony Brook University, where I work in social and political philosophy, philosophy of technology, and feminist philosophy. I am interested, primarily, in exploring the relationship between technology and politics — both in the abstract and with regard to policy. My dissertation project, "Hermeneutic Privacy: On Identity, Agency, and Information," aims to use hermeneutics and critical social theory to intervene in contemporary theoretical and policy debates about information privacy.
